This pipe belt conveyor is mainly composed of components such as a driving device, driving pully, bend pully, roller group, tensioning device, cleaner, head frame, tail frame, head transition section, tail transition section, standard section and conveyor belt.
① The driving device is the prime power part of the pipe belt conveyor, which can consist of an electric motor, a reducer, a high-speed coupling (hydraulic coupling or plum blossom elastic coupling), a low-speed shaft coupling, a brake, a backstop, etc. Sometimes, according to user requirements, a low-speed and high-torque permanent magnet synchronous motor can also be optionally adopted, which has the advantages of energy saving and high efficiency, small volume, light weight, high torque density, high efficiency and power factor, and strong overload capacity, with the driving efficiency increased by more than 10%.
② The head of the pipe belt conveyor uses several adjustable transition roller groups and press roller groups to guide the circular conveyor belt into a parallel conveyor belt; the tail uses several adjustable transition idler groups to gradually guide the parallel conveyor belt into a closed circular cross-section.
③ The pipe-forming section of this pipe belt conveyor adopts a regular hexagonal idler group, and the idlers are arranged on both sides of the idler window frame, with three idlers on each side.
④ For this pipe belt conveyor, reasonable analyses have been conducted on aspects such as driving configuration, spacing arrangement of pipe-forming idlers, structural form of steel trusses, values of longitudinal and transverse rigidity of the belt, and maintenance of roundness. Meanwhile, computer dynamic demonstrations have been carried out on the belt in the transition section, the pipe-forming process and various performances of the belt. In this way, the pipe belt conveyor not only has high transportation capacity and stable operation, but also features a compact structure and reduced cost.
⑤ The pipe belt conveyor has a large conveying capacity. For example, when conveying high-density materials such as ores, the conveying capacity can reach tens of thousands of tons per hour. It has good sealing performance, is especially suitable for areas with high environmental protection requirements, and can be used for long-distance cross-country conveying.
Our company began to develop circular pipe belt conveyors in the 1990s. It has successively cooperated with many domestic and foreign companies and universities, absorbed advanced technologies and experiences from many foreign companies, and independently developed a new generation of circular pipe belt conveyors with independent intellectual property rights, namely the SKGD type pipe belt conveyor. This product has been successfully applied in projects such as the coal conveying systems of TISCO, Huai Steel and some power plants, and has been exported to countries such as Japan, India and Indonesia. Shankuang circular pipe belt conveyor won the third prize of China Machinery Industry Science and Technology in 2012 and the second prize of Provincial Machinery Industry Science and Technology Progress. Shankuang Company participated in the formulation of the industry standard JB/T 10380-2013 for circular pipe belt conveyors.
