The main body of ball mill is a rotary part with low speed placed on the two main bearing houses, which is driven by motor via reducer. Steel ball as grinding material in installed inside shell body, when working, the feeding material mixes with steel ball, and steel balls shall be lifted to some height under the friction and then they drop freely under gravitational force to make material broken. The new material is continuously fed inlet, the broken material will flow to discharging end via height difference of material.
The ball mill is the wet overflow type. It uses center drive unit that includes motor, high speed safe coupling, three-grade reducer and the gear coupling connecting with the ball mill drive shaft. And every three-grade reducer is fitted with a slow drive unit.
The main bearing of ball mill has selected flexible self-aligning roller bearing and which is supplied with keen alloy bearing bush of large oil chute. And the main bearing has the low pressure automatic lubrication device. The bearing bush is supported on the slef-aligning base. The lubricating devices include oil pump, filter and flowrate switch and heat resistor that has function of sending oil temperature signal of 4-20mA to control system and, displaying and alarming. (Diffent clients are different).
The base of the main bearing is the oil box. And it is sealed with V type sealing ring and grove sealing to prevent the dust and water enterring. Also the sealing adds some grease to increase the sealing effect. Every ball mill is fitted with one oil pump.
In order to keep service life, the ball mill has been installed lifting type wear liner inside shell.
Steel ball uses high-chrome casting ball diameter of 60～26mm. (Different companies are different, also can buy by the client).
The limestone is discharged through the lining of the non-return screw and screw screen to prevent the steel ball enterring into the slurry box with the slurry.
In order to protect the slurry cycle pump and cyclone station, the slurry chooses the two grade screen to filter. The discharging scrren connecting with the rotation drive shaft is the first filter. The washing water connecting the screen is used for ensuring the draining material passing the screen. And second discharging screen is installed at the tail of the discharging chute. The large size material from the first grade screen will send to the ash-bin through a distribution hopper.
